244 Crosby

Past the coast guard station is the car park overlooking the sea and Gormley's Another Place statues. There are no restrictions signed and the CP has a bank of WCs which need a coin to enter. Plenty of bins.

243 Southport Pleasureland

Very basic but very handy  AND not bad at £8 pupn. Blocked Elsan, bins hard to find and water availanle. We also found free WiFi. Handy for town centre and esplanade walks or bike rides, also for swimming pool which wasn't cheap!

242 Skelmansthorpe

Siding Lane Nature Reserve CP. WCs closed in winter, bins, quiet rural location. Favourate of dog walkers, of course. Sheltered picnic areas for use when it's warmer.

241 Whitby (Marina)

The back Marina CP has larger bays for M-Hs and the Tourist Info people say that overnights are not allowed. Charges apply off season and are not cheap. £5 for 4 hours, £6.50 for 24hrs. The Marina toliets are close by, as are Coop, bins and the town centre.
Paying the money saved the long walk back up the 199 steps!!!!

240 Whitby Abbey

The height barriers were not commissioned but there were signs restricting overnights. The WCs were open and the bins emptied daily. The Abbey (Englsih Heritage) was closed off season. You could park foc all day and visit Whitby from here, providing you can mange the 199 steps back up again!

239 Marske

Just along the Stray from Redcar's CP is the one at Marske. It also has a WC (closed in winter) but much easier access to the beach. However a much more unlevel surface.

238 Warrenby (Redcar)

237 Saxton (picnic area)

This picnic area is up a VERY steep hill from the main road to Scarborough. Sleeping etc is not allowed but it was good place for breakfast and has bins and WC.

236 Malton

On the market place, next to the Saxon church, you can see the toilets (open all night) in the background.

As the sign shows, after 6pm there are no restrictions on overnites.
